Wiener Aktionismus Museum & Whitsun Festival
Director and Nitsch expert Julia Moebus-Puck will be giving a special guided tour of the exhibition “WHAT IS VIENNA ACTIONISM?” at Prinzendorf Castle on Whitsun Sunday.
She will shed light in detail on the emergence of Hermann Nitsch’s work in the core period of Viennese Actionism, provide insights into the time and explain the socio-political circumstances that made Nitsch and the other three Viennese Actionists the main representatives of this most important art movement in Austria after 1945. Feel free to ask all your questions!
The museum will be open at 10 a.m. to mark the occasion.
The guided tour is free of charge plus admission and starts at 10.15 am.
